The cylinder head inlet ports had already been matched to the gasket profile.
 
 
 
 
The next thing to look at was the injector manifold which also needed to be matched to the gasket, and in turn to the 
inlet manifold itself.  First the inlet is bored to 39mm, then carefully matched to the gasket profile. Damico can bore the

These pictures show the small amount of port mis-match between the main inlet manifold and the injector manifold.

 

Black line indicates the port profile which needs to be worked to.
