- Injectors cleaning.
- For cleaning injectors I use a service run by HGL Motors in Hull.

- They do a return postal service, normally within 48 hours !
- They use a ANSU machine which ultrasonically cleans deposits within the injector.
- These injectors have covered 70,000 miles, ok that's not too many miles, but they have been
- soaking in petrol for 13 years, so I would have expected some degradation in performance.
HGL will clean aswell as replace filter baskets and orings.

- HGL will include a report demonstrating before and after flow performance.
- The numbers represent cc flowed during 30secs.
Was the clean worth it ?, well for now, on paper at least I think so
- 160mph / 60 = 2.666
miles per minute
70ltr / 30min = 2.333 ltr per minute
so at 160mph 2.333 ltr burns every mile.
operating at 96.5% that's 2.251ltr, ie 0.0081 ltr (81cc) fuel missing from
the combustion for that duration.......1/4 can of coke................
