Clutch Release Mechanism and Bell Housing
The last small thing that concerned me was that if the pin retaining screw decided to work loose,
it could unscrew into the gearbox cavity, I wanted to prevent any possibility of this happening.

 

The cavity was a difficult shape to fill, I thought about filling with resin or something, in the 
end the easiest thing was to make a plate with a bend, all held in place with some black 
sealer. The std screw sits about 2mm proud of the bell housing face, allowance would need 
to be taken for this, however the modified version sits flush.

 

I guess time will tell if this was a good or bad idea..........

 

The rest of the work was plain re-assembly, lastly a check to make sure the clutch slave 
cylinder was empty of any air.
So how does the clutch feel now ?......very smooth and easy too, not that it was'nt before,
but now I think slightly better and have confidence in the mechanism, and hopfully a way of 
keeping it's operation smooth for a long time yet :-)
