The lotus carlton was developed in the late 1980's by GM in conjunction with lotus
The lotus carlton develops 377bhp from it's twin turbo 3.6litre engine.
The lotus carlton engine was developed from the successful C30SE engine fitted to Senators and Carlton GSi's.
The lotus carlton was right hand drive the left hooker version was labelled the lotus omega.
The combined production run of the models was about 950 cars with some 350 being the RHD lotus carlton
