- Cats
- I want to replace the cats with straight through pipes, but have them flanged at each end
- so that I can re-install the cats for mot testing.
- Checking the rest of the exhaust system prior to this work has revealed a number of problems.
- There are more than a few cracks and splits and corrosion holes in the silencer skins despite
- it being a stainless steel system.......poor quality stainless steel ! One annoying problem was
- that the o/s mid silencer box rattled...sounded like a loose baffle.
After some cleaning up and a little sand blasting, the damage was more evident.
