Compressor wheel removal
The nut had already been marked so that when tightened it can be put back exactly in the same place.
This either eliminates the need for re-balance (I'd not recommend this) or makes re-balance easier.

You can also note the position of the blades of the turbine relative to the compressor wheel.

Always undo the nut by applying counter torque to the turbine end, never be tempted to wrap
rag around the turbine or compressor wheel and hold these whilst undoing the nut.

The nut is LEFT HAND THREADED !!!!!!......ie clockwise to undo this (for ref torque to 70-78 in/lb)

A gentle tap on the end of the shaft was required to slide it out. The compressor wheel is a real nice snug fit on the shaft.

Wheel removed.

Note that like the big compressor housing circlip, it only fits one way, with the bevel facing outwards

A little tricky, but the next part will pull out, it's centre fits over the piston ring......

......and the outer part clamps against an o-ring.
