- Turbo Boost page 6 of 6
- A rolling road day was organised by the
Autobahnstormers on 2nd Feb 2005.
- The day of reckoning was to be held at SAS in Aldershot.

Beaten on the day by BTB's
Race prepared LC and a nitrous injected LO I was placed 3rd out of a field of 9
(BHP)

- I'm very pleased with this result compared to the first
run, a vast improvement. Torque was a little down on book figure,
- perhaps this may have been due to the dip in boost pressure
just after 4500rpm, I don't know why this was.
- Hoping to do some data
logging with a pda to confirm if this drop is consistent. (hurry up MR
;-)
- oops, bit late updating this bit, MR now completed his PDA datalogging
software perfectly !!
For comparison, other Lotus's on the day were measured at
:-
1 Andy Ward Lotus Omega 3615 Twin Turbo & NOS 436.5
2 Joe Ellis Lotus Carlton 3615 Twin Turbo 420.5
3 Richard Brunt Lotus Carlton 3615 Twin Turbo 413.0
4 James Waddington Lotus Carlton 3615 Twin Turbo 402.5
5 Phil Gummery Lotus Carlton 3615 Twin Turbo 394.5
6 Dave Waddington Lotus Carlton 3615 Twin Turbo 379.5
7 Sam Couperthwaite Lotus Omega 3615 Twin Turbo 374.0
8 Jason Badiani Lotus Omega 3615 Twin Turbo 356.5 Swiss spec
9 Mark Coleman Lotus Carlton 3615 Twin Turbo 334.5 Boost problem.
