BACK The first time view May 2002
18th May 2002 was a great day, this was the day I was to see my purchase for the first time.
My good friend James Waddington had previously spent many a phone call trying to persuade me to buy a Lotus Carlton, with 790G, he finally wore me down, boy was I glad !
790G had been dry stored and covered at the back of the workshop in the background of this first picture. It was how I'd always dreamed of finding a car like this, walking to the back of a darkened dusty workshop and lifting the corner of it's cover to reveal a gleaming Lotus Carlton.......a dream come true.....really.........almost romantic ;-)
